-We are in DIRE need of foster homes will you help?

Times are tough and Mastiffs are turning up in shelters in droves. The three emergency shelter rescues listed here are only our most recent example of this problem.

We know we can't 'help them all'. But will you help us to save the ones we can?

If you have ever thought about offering a safe refuge to a special Mastiff...now is the time to help so we don't have to turn any Mastiffs away. SSMR has been grateful that we have never had to turn away a Mastiff before because we could not accommodate them -and we do not want to be in that position but it is on the horizon quickly if new volunteers do not come forward in Florida and in other states. Please volunteer to foster a Mastiff or in ANY of the Southern States region TODAY.

Hello I was surrendered to a shelter by my owner along with two of my sisters, also only one year old girls. We are all STARVED for affection and need a new home or foster home immediately as we have to be out of the shelter in two days time.

My old owner was not a very good breeder because he planned to sell us all and make a lot of money but I guess he found out the hard way that Mastiffs are not a lucrative breed. So here we are.

The folks at the shelter say how very loving and sweet we all three are and that we get along with the other dogs at the shelter.

They also say that we'll need leash training as with all puppies- and that we are timid but will bow to be petted submissively.

The folks at the shelter also said that we appear to be good with children.

If you have ever planned to help give temporary refuge to a Mastiff in need I would be so grateful for your help- my two sisters also need someone to adopt or foster them immediately. If you wish to foster me to see how I would work out with your family, or just to save my/our lives please click here and submit a volunteer form mentioning us by name in Alabama.
