Brooklyn is a very sweet four year old fawn Mastiff girl who has recently come into rescue.  She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, HW negative, and ready for her new family.  She is a reserved girl who would do best in a quiet home with another low energy dog.  She does appear to get along with children who can respect that she is not their toy.  She has had little socialization in her previous home, so slow introductions and a long adjustment time may be necessary for her to feel at home with her new family.  Her foster mom  said that it took about a week for her to settle in and feel at home.

Brooklyn currently lives in a home with four children, another dog, and a cat.  She has been very patient with the children and is doing well with her foster sister (a 7 year old female Mastiff), however, she needs to be in a home with no cats.

Brooklyn came into rescue because her owner was ill and could no longer provide the care she needed.  She is learning to accept new people and new situations and just needs a patient family to help her feel at home.  If you think you might be the right match for Brooklyn, please submit an
adoption application   and mention her by name and by state.
