Cali
is a sweet, adorable twenty month old
Mastiff girl who has has known nothing but
love and affection her entire life. She
lives to be petted, kissed, and scratched
behind her ears. She does enjoy comfortable
furniture and prefers to sleep near her
owner on a bed or couch. Cali loves to go on
walks and run around the backyard.
Unfortunately her backyard has never been
spacious enough to accommodate her. She
likes to be around people all the time and
you will always find her in a room where
someone is. She is finicky around brooms and
vacuums and will bark at odd things she has
never seen before, such as kites or large
objects.
This
gorgeous tiger striped brindle girl
loves her toys and bones and is good with
strangers. She has been known to do amusing
things such as bring objects like bring
pillows, remotes, or even shampoo from one
room to another.
Cali
has chewed a shoe or two in her day but only
when left alone in the house. She is potty
trained and likes to be in her kennel. She
hasn't grown up around small children but
with her gentle nature her owner believes
she might be good with kids old enough to
understand how to treat a dog properly- and
not too small to be knocked down in play.
Cali
does go to the dog-park occasionally with
her owners and likes to play with other
dogs. She WILL chase cats, that was the
hardest part of training her to go on walks,
so she will only be adopted to a new home
without cats in it.
She
enjoys taking baths and being groomed and
just attention in general; likes to
drink running water from the hose or
sprinklers, and will drink from the toilet
(a trait she picked up from her owner's
boxer) if the lid is open.
All together she is a wonderful dog and
would make a great addition to a loving
family. Her owners would keep her if they
could, but are moving to help care for a
sick relative and will be working 12hr
shifts -which is just too long to
leave any dog alone. So her owner turned to
SSMR to assist with placing her in the most
wonderful of homes where she will be
treasured forever.
