Coda is a 1 year old gorgeous apricot puppy girl who was owner surrendered to the shelter because the family who owned her was forced to move into a small apartment.  As Cody is still a puppy she needs an owner who is dedicated to training her because she is pure potential at this point.

The lovely Miss Coda was raised with 3 young children & is currently enjoying a foster home with a 7 mo male mastiff & a 6 month old baby and is happy as can be there. She desperately needs to be taught some leash manners and going to some obedience training would be a great bonding experience for her with her new owner.

Coda is said to be good with all dogs & people, but NO cats, ducks or pet birds. She is WAY too interested in them.

She is a VERY sweet 100 lb girl who rode beautifully with 5 different transporters today. In her first day with her new foster home they report that she REALLY needs to be in a home with another dog as she experiences separation anxiety when alone. Probably she is just getting used to being without her original owners too.

Below is a note from her foster home after day one:

<<She hasn't chewed on a single thing that wasn't hers since she's been here.  We left her out the other day when we went shopping, and ame back to find everything in it's place.  Her & Hannie (the foster's mastiff) were just laying on the couch when we walked in, nicely though they lifed up their heads and started to walk over as if to say, "Oh you're back?  Did you bring any treats?"  She's being good though.  We'll see how tonight goes.  As with Rainie, everyday is a new adventure.  Oh, leash manners. . .she does have a tendancy to pull, but with some training she could pass the CGC training!  She also knows sit and stay, we are working on lay with her and Hannie.  Very quick learner!  I guess she is housebroken as well, except for that one accident ( which we still can't figure out cause we were right there) she has been great about telling us when she needs to go out. >>
