Please don't let my
gray face turn you away! I'm not old by
any means-I'm just into my prime.
My name is Ellie Mae- and I am as sweet
as a Mastiff can be. And I'm smiling in
these photos because I am SO thankful to
be out of the animal shelter....the
people there were afraid of Mastiffs.
They even squirted me directly with the
hose to clean the run out & I was
feeling so unloved and miserable.
Thank goodness, my
foster Mom picked me up and saved me
from that awful jail. She was gentle and
kind and talked to me so nice. She fed
me some really great food, gave me a
lovely bath & now all of the awful fleas
& ticks are gone! BOY do I feel so
much better now.
At my foster
mom's house I have a special favorite
toy & I love to play with it when I am
in the yard. People really are good- I
knew it all along.
I am housebroken &
incredibly affectionate. I love to
sneak up on the couch when no one is
looking. I love both men & women,
other dogs, and with a ten year old
child at my foster home-
but I have not been tested with
cats. They say I deserve a good life
since my previous life was not so
good...and they don't know the half of
it. If only I could really talk.
The sad fact is that
my owners cruelly dropped me off in the
box outside of the animal shelter. I
kept hoping they would come back but
they never did. The people there said
that I have had puppies at some point.
They think I am
about 5 to 6 year years old. Do you have a place
for me in your home & heart???????
