Flash is a three year old fawn Mastiff boy who his foster mom says is a 'very low maintenance dog' who is easy to live with and who loves life. He is currently heartworm positive so will be treated by SSMR for this. He is said to be good with kids, cats & other dogs.

Below are excerpts from one of our SSMR volunteers about him: Flash is a very sweet boy who has a good grasp on basic commands. He knows sit, lay down, and stay. He is housebroken and also takes treats very gently. The first day I met him, his owner opened the door and he came out full of kisses. He met me & my teenage daughter like he'd known us all his life. He also meets guests as if they are old friends.

I recently had him over night (before early morning neuter surgery) and he was wonderful. He walked in my house and you would've never known that he didn't live there. He met both of my female dogs without incident and was completely disinterested in the cats. He walked around, checked everything out, then curled up on the couch for a nap. We did try to introduce him to our male foster Mastiff (Bear), but they quickly got into a scuffle and had to be separated for the night.

Flash has a wonderful personality. He is a happy but mellow boy who just wants to snuggle on the couch with you. He walks fairly well on a leash, but does pull. He loves car rides and is an excellent passenger. Flash will make a great addition to your family. He has a wonderful disposition and is very low maintenance.
