Max is a lovely fawn Male Mastiff young adult of 3-4 years old.  He has been well cared for and is good with other submissive dogs. He would likely do best with a female mastiff or other large dog. He hasn't been around cats before so that is an unknown.

He is fine with older children age ten and up and has been out to public places and seems to handle it well according to his former owners.

Max does get nervous at the vet and most likely needs a refresher on obedience training.

He is a little standoffish at first, which is actually a Mastiff breed trait- but warmed up to our volunteer quickly when properly introduced.
