My name is Myrtle and I am an elegant fawn Mastiff girl, about 2 years of age. I am a very active mastiff - a long lean 115# light apricot. I am very sweet with people - very exuberant around everyone in fact! I'm extremely alert and curious and like to check everything out by sniffing or poking with my nose. I'm a fit and healthy girl! Believe it or not, I'm even very willing to let you clip my toenails - which is more than I can say about a couple of my foster mom's personal mastiffs by the way... They all tell me it's difficult to take good pictures of me as I am almost always on the go. But who wants to just lie around and look cute? Below is from my foster mom: "Mertie needs to be an only pet. She will do very well with adults and older children (teens). She is too exuberant to be around younger children and toddlers. She gives kisses, lifts her paw to shake, and will sit on command most of the time." She concluded that "I can't imagine why anyone would want to dump her or get rid of her. she will make some lucky person a wonderful dog!"
