 AVAILABLE

NOTE: Spring/Summer 2009 -We are in DIRE need of foster homes will you help?

Times are tough and Mastiffs are turning up in shelters in droves.

We know we can't 'help them all'. But will you help us to save the ones we can? Donating to us is essential to keep SSMR going. So is volunteering to help either by fostering, doing transport, evaluation and home visits.

If you have ever thought about offering a safe refuge to a special Mastiff...now is the time to help so we don't have to turn any Mastiffs away. SSMR has been grateful that we have never had to turn away a Mastiff before because we could not accommodate them -and we do not want to be in that position but it is on the horizon quickly if new volunteers do not come forward in Florida and in other states. Please volunteer to foster a Mastiff or in ANY of the Southern States region TODAY.

My name is Mojo and I am a GORGEOUS 5 year old Brindle Boy. I am on the tall side for a mastiff but am quite underweight. My foster family is working on putting me back to a healthy weight so I'm loving the good food right now!

When I was a puppy I was hit by a car. Thank goodness the damage was not bad. You cant tell anything is wrong with me until you see my running in the yard. I don't walk with a limp and nothing hinders my happy go lucky attitude, but there is a bit of a different angle to my back when you look closely.
It doesn't hurt my looks- I'm still the most beautiful tiger striped brindle Mastiff most folks will ever see. Not to mention gentle and loving- even with small animals such as the puppy at my foster home. See our photo together above.

My foster family just started me on Glucosomine and I will need to be on for the rest of my life so that I can remain agile and fit.

Pretty much I am a big dopey, floppy Male Mastiff.

I was raised with small children in my past life. I am currently living with a 2 year old female mastiff and a 4 year old male bullmastiff.  I get along great with both.  I am also living with a 2 year old cat and am very curious about it.  I want to play with the cat but my foster parents are teaching me to leave the cat alone.  I like kids, but I would rather be living with children over 5 years old since I am a bit clutzy and have no idea how big I am they say.

I am a handsome boy who will make any family complete.

I can be placed as a pair with my sister Daisy or separately as we really are not super attached to each other.

If you have the time and love in your heart to make me a family member for ever please fill out an adoption application at adoption application mentioning me by name and state.

If you are interested in more information about me, please contact Kelly @ freadcat@hotmail.com
