Hi Alma,

Savvy as we have renamed her (due to her cleverness) is very well, and blossoming more and more each day!

She has been a delight to have in our home and has made such a great addition too.

She now weighs about 116 pounds, and is such a "Mastiff" at heart.

Savannah's 'Happy Ending' Photos!
What a difference you can see in Savannah from these wonderful 'after' photos by comparison with her sad and frightened 'before' photos taken in the animal shelter where she was on death row.....her original photos and SSMR listing are below.

This poor brindle Mastiff girl is searching for someone to love. You can see it in her pleading eyes. There is evidence that she may have had a litter recently too- who knows what this beautiful girl has been through so far. Savannah is an apricot brindle female Mastiff who is as sweet as she can be and very malnourished at only 110 pounds. (More information below the photos)

Savannah was picked up as a stray in Savannah, GA (thus her name) and is estimated to be under 3 years old.

The shelter personnel have all said that she is very sweet, and absolutely craves love and affection.

Savannah plays in the doggie play yard with other dogs with no problems so she seems to be both people and dog friendly-  which makes her a good candidate to join a family 'pack'.

We have no way of knowing if she is housebroken yet, but she usually does wait to potty until she goes into the play yard so she may be already house trained.

Some leash training will have to be done with her for sure- and an obedience class would be a great way to bond with her!
