Here is Stu's sad story....

Stu was a beloved pet until recently.  Sadly, he was hit by a car & his owners tried to get him help, but could not afford the expensive surgery to repair his shoulder that was injured.

His owners, feeling they had no alternative,  took him to vet to have him euthanized but the vet's office knew what a great, sweet boy he was & did not want to let that happen.

So the vet's office called SSMR to save him.

Stu will be having surgery next week & it won't be long until he will be ready to go to a forever home..

We will be testing him with dogs, etc in the near future, but so far he has done nothing but gladly meet everyone!
