'KING WINSTON'

DONATIONS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED FOR WINSTON'S SURGICAL COSTS AND AFTER-CARE. When SSMR was first notified about Winston coming into a shelter in TN, our hearts went out to him.

Winston had a huge (but thankfully benign) tumor on his side - the size of which made it difficult for him to lie down comfortably etc... We were told that he was approximately 5-7 years of age. Winston has undergone surgery to remove the growth and has thrived in the loving care of his foster family post-surgically. He is sweet and tolerant-and has a dignity about him that is quite beautiful. A real gentleman Mastiff. But his rescue has come at a high cost to SSMR. At this point SSMR has incurred more than $900.00 in medical bills for his surgery and after-care. Can you please help by donating towards his medical bills? Below is his photo right after he came home from his surgery- the area shaved is where the tumor was removed. (He also had a small benign growth removed from a toe while under anesthesia.)

Winston Is a regal and dignified gentleman Mastiff who wants only to lie on someone's feet and look after them..... He looks sad in the two lying down photos and no wonder. He has been abandoned by the people whom he probably gave his whole life to. But he is ready to love again with that beautiful Mastiff heart that never stops wanting a family to care for and to look after. For that is what Mastiffs do. His temporary foster mom says this about Winston ........(READ BELOW PHOTOS)

EXCELLENT- extremely affectionate and only wants to love and be loved.

Unknown but he is so very gentle in nature that it's hard to imagine him not liking anyone

Winston is a beautiful mature Male Mastiff of probably 5-7 years of age. He is handsome and gentle and has had a difficult time with being dumped at a shelter and left to die by those he had thought were his loved ones. He greets people happily and with calmness and a mellow attitude.
Winston is just a great fellow. He is very loving, he is a follower who wants only to please you. He has no aggression and seems to be looking for a true friend that he can love forever. He is playful around other dogs his size and good with a welsh corgi female as well.

He will be neutered soon and available afterwards. He has a little white on his muzzle, but doesn't really show many overt signs of aging other than that. He came to me very despondent and depressed but with some love and attention he has perked up and seems to get 'younger' every day!

Winston just loves riding in the car. He loves to be outside in nice weather to stretch out in the sun or to take a roll in the cool grass.

He is perfectly house broken and is a good eater. He is wonderfully social, is a funny guy with a good sense of humor and he is a good kisser!

His foster mom said this about Winston, "I would marry him if he could drive a car :)"

Winston is such a good boy- won't you give him the chance to retire with you on Easy Street'? He is a real gentleman Mastiff!
