Wyatt is a lovely brindle mastiff who
was dumped by his owners at a shelter
because they were moving and it was
inconvenient to have a dog at that time.
He was adopted to a family on a farm who
returned him because they said he had
poor leash manners. He was rescued from
the shelter and entered SSMR's placement
program after being found to have a
GREAT temperament. What a great dog for
the right family....he is young and
intelligent and wants to please. So
leash training should be intuitive with
him.
Here is what his foster mom says
about him. "I have found Wyatt is good
with bathing, behaves with 10 yo mixed
dog even when feeding, sweet, learning
leash manners with low level
stimulation, house broken up to 8 hours,
enjoys car rides, good with bathing, and
is willing to learn. He needs to work on
learning his space, leash training in
higher stimulus environment, slightly
scared of storms and not to chase the
lawn mower."
